The Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) has allowed Microsoft’s defenses in a £270 million antitrust case to proceed to trial, rejecting a software reseller’s attempt to strike them out. The case concerns allegations by ValueLicensing that Microsoft stifled the market for pre-owned software licenses in the U.K. and Europe.
